Save work, time and money with the nu:ju hairdressing towel made of Evolon®.
The towel combines high performance with a compact design. Thanks to the patented microfilament technology, the nu:ju® hairdressing towel can absorb four times its own weight in liquid.
It is comfortable, soft and extremely hard-wearing. It dries two to three times faster than conventional towels and can easily be washed many times at up to 95 degrees. Fabric softener is not required at all.
- Size of the towel: 50 x 90 cm
- Packaging units: 5, 10 and 25 pieces
The light, hygienic, ecological and compact alternative to terry towels.
With a weight of 59 g, it is light and compact and takes up 4 - 5 times less space in the washing machine and tumble dryer than a comparable terry towel. The silver ionization prevents the formation of harmful germs and bacteria. The towel can therefore also be washed at 40 degrees without hesitation.
Evolon® is manufactured in France and processed and packaged in Germany to make nu:ju® hairdressing towels. The material is certified according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100, Class 1, which confirms that it is free from harmful substances such as formaldehyde and is therefore also suitable for babies and children.
Electricity cost comparison calculator
nu:ju hairdressing towels in 50 x 90 cm compared to terry towels made of cotton 380 g/m² in the same size
The electricity cost comparison calculator gives you a quick overview of the average electricity costs for washing and drying the hairdressing towels that you use in your salon every day.
The amount of nu:ju towels made of Evolon® per wash cycle can be quadrupled compared to terry towels, the drying time of nu:ju towels in the tumble dryer can be reduced by half and the load can be increased by 1.5-2 times.
The comparative calculation is based on an electricity price of €0.308 per kWh. You can change the electricity price in the calculator.
As the differences in the electricity consumption of washing machines vary greatly and are also dependent on actual user behavior, the calculated electricity costs and savings are based on average values. In our calculations, we assume a full load of the washing machine and a washing temperature of 60°C for each wash cycle.
The power consumption of tumble dryers varies more widely than almost any other electrical appliance. The differences in electricity costs are correspondingly large. Here, too, we had to rely on average values. We used tumble dryers with a capacity of 6 kg of wet laundry as the basis for our calculations.
Do you need a precise analysis of your electricity cost savings?
We will be happy to calculate the actual electricity costs for you and provide you with a detailed comparative calculation. Please just let us know:
- The manufacturer and type designation of your washing machine and tumble dryer
- The type (e.g. 380 g/m² cotton terry towel) and quantity of hairdressing towels used daily
- The frequency of washing and drying cycles and the usual washing temperature
